Sometimes we miss the beauty, the amazing possibility, and the untapped potential of the people and things closest to us.  Because of their proximity, we don’t always see the remarkable gifts in our spouses, parents, children, friends, careers and businesses. Because of their familiarity, we don’t always grasp their full worth.

Whatever the future might hold, realize that right here, right now, THESE are the days of our lives. No more ‘one day we’ll do that big trip to ….’ No more ‘one day we may move somewhere bigger and more beautiful’. Instead of focusing only on what may or may not happen in the future, strive to enjoy the now.

Every day is a new beginning.  Don’t let the things you want make you miss the things you have today!
