Email Blasts Guidelines:
The purpose of this document is to provide guidance for promotional content. This document details the approval process that email blasts will go through and critical requirements for sending emails. This document is not all-encompassing, and individual circumstances will be taken into consideration when approving an email blast.
Images
High-Quality Images
Images must be high resolution 300 dpi – sized 600px to 650px for newsletter graphics.

Website Graphics:
– Banners – *Mobile Leaderboard – 320 x 50
– Logos – *Logo 250 x 150 px

Avoid Images Containing Text
Images must not have any text saved as part of the image in compliance with accessibility standards set by the Association with Disabilities Act.

Text that is part of a graphic design element will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Videos
Videos can be included in emails as links—either text links or linked from an image. Videos should open in a new window to play. Videos can be hosted on YouTube or on your website.
We will not embed videos.

Appropriate Language and Content
Text content must be 100 words or less and use appropriate grammar, punctuation as well as language that is relevant to the message of the email.

Content used in the email blast must adhere to Optometry Divas’ standards and be appropriate for the target audience. No swearing, political affiliation, lewd or indecent content or misleading language should be used.

Approval Process
• Email blast will be sent within 30 days or the agreed upon time.
• Quarterly email blasts are sent every 3rd Wednesday of 2 months of the quarter.
• Email blasts will be reviewed and approved by the Optometry Divas’ marketing team.
• Optometry Divas reserve the right to decline approval based on policy and or other more appropriate communication avenues.

Social Media Sponsored Posts Guidelines:
The purpose of this document is to provide guidance for promotional social media posts. This document details the approval process that sponsored posts will go through and critical requirements for posting. This document is not all-encompassing, and individual circumstances will be taken into consideration when approving a sponsored post.

High-Quality Images of Visual with Logo
Images must be high resolution 300 dpi – sized 1080 by 1080 px
Videos
Videos can be used for posts. However, the video must be hosted on YouTube.
We will not embed videos in posts.
Text Content
Text content must be 25 words or less and use appropriate grammar, punctuation as well as language that is relevant to the message of the post. Hashtags are limited to 5 and must be provided.
Content used in social media posts must adhere to Optometry Divas’ standards and be appropriate for the target audience. No swearing, political affiliation, lewd or indecent content or misleading language should be used.
Approval Process
• Visuals and text copy for social media posts must be submitted to [email protected].
• Content will be posted within 2 weeks of receipt
• Content will be reviewed and approved by the Optometry Divas’ marketing team.
• Optometry Divas reserve the right to decline approval based on policy and or other more appropriate communication avenues.
