What is a Mastermind group?

According to thesuccessalliance.com, Mastermind groups offer a combination of brainstorming, education, peer accountability and support in a group setting to sharpen your business and personal skills. A mastermind group helps you and your mastermind group members achieve success. Members challenge each other to set strong goals, and more importantly, to accomplish them.

The concept of Mastermind Groups was first introduced by Napoleon Hill. In his book Think and Grow Rich (1937) he described Mastermind as a group of at least two people who come together with the aim of solving problems. Hill’s findings was mainly based on studying successful American companies which had Mastermind Groups.
